From the moment Jennifer Talbot is pulled from the Royal Navy into the shadow world of MI6, her life becomes a risk. The Yemeni Effect is a high-stakes thriller that takes away the glamour of spy fiction and exposes the brutal reality of counterterrorism. This is the story of a female operative operating alone, undercover, and surrounded by enemies.
I am a former Royal Navy Diver and Physical Trainer, and my seventeen-year military career placed me in some of the world’s most volatile environments. I served across Africa, Asia, and Europe, operating in conditions where discipline and calm decision-making were often the difference between survival and failure. Exposure to hostile fire and high-risk operations gave me a deep understanding of pressure, fear, and resilience.
Beyond my military service, I have always been a lifelong explorer. My experiences extend far beyond conventional travel and include underwater and underground caving expeditions, treks through dense Asian rainforests, ascents of high-altitude mountain ranges, explorations of active volcanic regions, and even witnessing the formation of new islands.
After leaving the military, I continued working internationally, managing licensed trade operations and later moving into the travel industry across Sri Lanka, India, and the Maldives. During this time, I published my first literary work, Poetry Like No Other, and received recognition from the International Poetry Society for my poem Peace in Our Land. Now retired, I write full-time.
A gripping British espionage thriller that follows a Royal Navy recruit turned MI6 operative, forced deep undercover into extremist networks where intelligence is the only weapon that matters. Jennifer Talbot is trained for endurance and survival and must outthink killers while operating completely alone. One wrong move means exposure. One failure means catastrophe. This is modern counterterrorism.
An award-winning African action thriller inspired by real events, set against the unforgiving landscapes of East Africa, where survival, loyalty, and morality are constantly tested. When a ruthless predator exploits illegal lion hunting for profit and power, his brutality leaves devastation in its wake. Animals are tortured. Lives are destroyed. And those who stand in his path are shown no mercy. As the danger escalates, a small group of men must decide whether to look away or confront evil head-on.

The Yemeni Effect
This is a fasting moving read as the author writes about a young woman’s adventure as she goes undercover into a terror cell in the Yemen. A realistic portrayal of events which everyone should read.

The Lion Hunter
I liked the unfolding personalities of the characters. Also, the fact that the author has been in every country where the story takes place. Wow! What a good book!!

The Lion Hunter
A great read, having lived in Africa, I felt involved in the exciting adventure.
